What is RSS?
An RSS feed from various sites allows you to see when those sites from all over the Internet have added new content. RSS can take the hassle out of staying up-to-date on news and topics of interest by showing you the latest information at a glance.
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". You can also think of this as the free, Internet version of the old-fashioned ticker-tape news wire machines.
Not all websites currently provide RSS, but it is growing in popularity and your larger news sites do provide this.
Clarionledger.com RSS feeds contain headlines, summaries, and hyperlinks to complete articles on clarionledger.com and other websites. Users utilize software know as news readers to group headlines from multiple sources into one interface.
